Every year, US foreign assistance saves more than three million lives. Since February 2025, we have been interviewing a few of those people in Kenya, Ethiopia and Pakistan, to share their messages with the American people.

The interviews are being collected by experienced field researchers, with the respondents’ names changed to protect them.
